I agree that devotionals are great. They are like our sweet treats but they should never replace the meat and potatoes that is the Word of God (or in my case the enchiladas, rice and beans!). ;) Thanks, B.renay.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7628345867981438635.post-36680189090758021562010-01-18T14:19:56.179-08:002010-01-18T14:19:56.179-08:00Hey y'all, thanks for the love.

Sometimes we feel the rush of the day and know we must squeeze in our "devotional" time somewhere, so we stick with the minimum... thinking that it would satisfy us the whole day. Yet it doesn't.

God is worth more then that. He DESERVES more and we should give it to Him. Doing this will only hurt our walk and our relationship with Christ. In order to grow closer to God and be used by God, we must value our devotional and prayer time. It is important to our walk. We must not treat it as a small portion but gorge and pig-out (Just like you said).Miss Minderzhttp://foreverunique.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7628345867981438635.post-48024894236068908852010-01-18T11:42:39.991-08:002010-01-18T11:42:39.991-08:00good analogy!
