jealousy, envy, & me...

She's jealous of his car. He's jealous of his wife. We're jealous of her hair. We are all jealous of someone, at sometime. Don't lie. Now it's simply a matter of how to deal with it so we don't end up like brood of haters.
Today's post is linked on (in)courage and can be read in it's entirety. As always, I've turned off the comments here so you can join the dialogue as we discuss fashion faux pas, gym workouts, and Grecian supermodels who workout at my gym.

The length of her legs reaches to my eyelids and her hair hangs at the side of her size 2 waist. She has to be a fitness coach, professional dancer, or super model because really, who looks like a Grecian goddess at 5:30AM?

I just finished reading your post at (in)courage. I can definitely relate. Jealousy is something I try to fool myself into believing I don't struggle with. HA! Then that "prettier" woman walks by and I turn green. Hey, it is St. Patricks day. Jk. Thanks for the post.

I can totally identify with jealousy. I always wished I were prettier, less fat, smarter, less socially retarded, more attractive to boys, less awkward with myself, more eloquent, yadda yadda. In fact, it's only recently that God spoke to me pretty clearly, and told me that, well, I can't be perfect, and I should stop having such high expectations of myself and trying to be little miss perfect, because God loves me the way I am, warts and all!

A week ago I read this post over at (in)courage. I enjoyed the humor and yet totally related to what you shared at the same time. It stuck in my mind.

Today I was catching up on blog posts that I subscribe to in google reader. One of them is a photographer named Jasmine Star. A few days ago she had a post and somewhere in there was this little line about a 7 ft. woman in a spin class....I knew that sounded familiar....

Looking back at the (in)courage blog brought me to your blog (which I will now subscribe to--you crack me up!). Upon seeing your picture and your location, I was convinced that Jasmine had a pen name or alter ego or something. A little googleing brought me to the post on Jasmine's site where she took beautiful pictures of her twin sister....

And now the mystery of the 7 ft. spin class lady and the California bloggers who look alike is solved! Can't wait to read more of your posts!

Each and every one of us has this not-so-good trait called jealousy that we got from our ancestors. We really can't help but get jealous of the things or people that we see. And it's kinda sad because sometimes, evil things happen because of being jealous. That's why there are now Theta healing therapies especially for those people who has a lot of negative vibes inside. I actually tried a Theta healing session before and I felt so renewed.
