full circle...

As we sat on the cherry-wood table in the green room at church last night, I had to share with him how much my life has changed. Largely in part to a simple conversation we had late one night near the Dead Sea. He never knew how much my life's journey would be impacted by a simple question: Why do you do what you do?

In true providential and sovereign fashion, I got to share with him last night how profoundly my life has changed because of a simple conversation. Sonny inspired not only my direction in life, but this entire blog. I had to do something--I just didn't know what it was.

Today marks my 200th blog post and now I get to share with you why I do what I do:
L-O-V-E
Love is still the motivating factor in all I do.

At the 100 blog post, I said I would commit to 100 more. Now this day is here and I'm promising to commit to 100 more. I wrestle with this concept of blogging because I'm not a blogger. I don't want to be a professional blogger or a mega-blogger. I want to change lives. So I'm a speaker, teacher, and writer who happens to blog.

Thank you for coming here. Thank you for letting me be ugly and honest. Thank you for accepting the broken parts of me. Thank you for walking this journey together. I'm a better person because of you. Here's to 100 more posts...

*Edit to post: If you are attending the CCM retreat tomorrow, I want to meet up! I'll be in the cafe at 5pm if you want to chat :)

I'm so glad that you're a speaker, teacher and writer who happens to blog... in the name of love. That's why I come back post after post. I'm not interested in mega bloggers. I'm interested in you. And me. And them. And us. :)

Hi Bianca,
I've been following your blog since you started it. And I have to tell you that I feel like you are dear friend even though we have never met. I look forward to reading your blog because you have such a wonderful way of making me think about my life (broken, imperfect and ugly) and how I need to love more like Jesus and see people as Jesus would see them. I hope you continue to make your blog a tiny part of what you do. Because of you, your blog is motivating and can be life changing even though you may not know the people whose lives you are changing. Thanks for keeping it real, as that is one thing that is so hard to find in this world!

Bianca: I'm so glad that we met a year ago at CCM's women's conference. I'm thankful that the Lord allowed me to get to know you through Genesis. I'm also grateful to you for your openness, brokenness, honesty, and for unashamedly declaring the love of Jesus. Heads up, I will be giving you a big hug tomorrow (the last one intended for you went to a startled Jasmin...)!

His & yours,
Cindy A.

Congrats! And definitely keep up the awesome work. Now that I've found you, I check in for my daily dose of encouragement...you ARE changing lives and just because you're not a professional blogger doesn't mean you're not impacting people as if you were.

XOXO

B! I feel like you're the big sister this bratty-only-child never wanted, but so desperately needed. I've followed this blog since the first post, mostly in silence, but I want you to know how much it means to me. You're straight up, and you know that's the only way I know how to do things :)

Thank you. For everything.

Thank you all so much. You don't know how weird this is for me, but it's like a family. Some members live far away, others are seen weekly. But we can all come here and share are victories and struggles.

With much love,
B

caught some of the livestream last night. i didn't realize the man who opened in prayer was your father :) (what a precious man!) there was a moment when he paused with apparent emotion connected behind every word. and it was refreshing and beautiful.

i'm so thankful for the time you take every week to pour out to a community, to whom most have never met...to share with courage your hope and love for Him and for us.

i'm hoping to sneak out there for Catwest and i would LOVE to give you a giant hug!

thank you for serving, Bianca!
xoxo

I do love reading your blogs and I agree with you completely; I am not a blogger, just someone who happens to blog. You are so awesome Bianca and I feel blessed that I finally was able to meet you, give you one of my famous hugs, and make you my friend.

I WILL continually pray for you. I am sorry that I have not commented on your blog. I go through my stages sometimes. I haven't even been posting on my own blog. lol

We are also having an event at our church this weekend! Man! Last night was just beautiful. This preacher from England came to give us a word. He will be there again tonight. I am so excited to see all that God has for me, my friends, and my church.

I will keep the CCM retreat in prayer. May God's will be done.

Love you girl!

KIR! Yes, I remember now. lol
